CD or cassette and lyrics sheets will be provided. If you are studying Spanish for a job or a trip, or just for your own knowledge, I can help you with your specific issues and needs. Conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and reading will be covered as needed.

About the Instructor: Twenty five years ago, I lived in Central America. Since then, I've worked with refugees and

Movie Night – Thursday, June 19th @ 7pm

Join us for a community movie night as we watch and discuss the documentary film Turning Points: Stories of Life and Change in the Church. We’re presenting this movie in response to the recent court decisions regarding marriage in California and the ongoing discussion, discernment and dialogue about gay and lesbian people in the Presbyterian Church which will be taken up at the General Assembly gathering of our national church this month in San Jose (look for the article on GA in the Voice).

Come to see this documentary which seeks to lift up the personal stories of several church members. It’s not an expose of scripture, but rather an invitation to hear the stories of several other followers of Jesus. Then stay for some conversation in which our goal will not be to convict or convert others to our own given perspective, but to dialogue and discuss.

New Faith Growth Class
Wednesdays, 3 - 4:30pm

Paul's Pastoral Letter to the Ancient Church of Rome

Join us for this new class as we take a chapter each week on Romans: the most well known of the Apostle Paul's letter to the church of Rome - and some say the highlight of his writing ministry. What does it mean for us to follow Jesus as individuals and as a community? Why bother? What is salvation? How does it all work? What happens to those that don't make that choice? These are some of the key questions that Paul seeks to answer in his letter. Come and join the discussion in which we seek not to convict or convert, but rather to converse and grow as a community in our faith and relationships!

Summer Camp - Sign Up Today

We are sending some of the children of our church community to to summer camp at Westminster Woods June 22-28. We make a community commitment each year to ensure that any childrren of our church that want to attend camp (or other faith learning events) are able to do so. That means we annually raise a significant amount of money to help to do just that . (Camp costs up to $475 per week). It's a lot of money, but many say that a week of camp os the equivalent of a year's worth of Sunday School. In a way, that means camp is a great investment in the emerging lives of faith of our church chuldren!

You can help send our children to camp by making a special donation (lanbeled Summer Camp Help) any Sunday in our regular offering.
