Vacation Bible School*

It is that time of year, where we wait with bated breath each day to see if the fog
will roll in, or if it will stay sunny. Summer in the Bay Area is right around the corner!
Summer brings freedom, chances to try something new, to learn in ways just not possible in a traditional classroom. Fruitvale Presbyterian Church is offering a unique opportunity this August... vacation Bible school, art style.
This summer We are hiring three working artists
to spend a week with children and
youth, entering 2nd-12th grade, teaching
them what they know, encouraging
new art skills, building relationships, and
getting some God in there in between.
We will use the arts to explore religious issues
and questions... and have a whole
lot of fun. Be on the lookout for more
details as we hire artists.

bake, serve lunch, advertise, outreach. Certainly your gifts can be of service!

If the responsible adult needs to work later, arrangements can be made to extend childcare
to 5 pm.
